About Me

Thinking Ten Moves Ahead

A Strategist from the Start

I’ve been thinking strategically for as long as I can remember.

As a child, competitive chess taught me to recognize patterns, anticipate consequences, and think several moves ahead before making a decision. That mindset stayed with me through medicine, astrophysics, journalism, auditing, accounting, and financial analysis.

Across every field, I’ve been drawn to the same challenge: understanding complex systems and helping people make better decisions within them.

Today, I bring that perspective to organizations navigating growth, financial uncertainty, operational change, and strategic planning, combining analytical thinking with curiosity, communication, and a long-term view.

Building Systems that Endure

Healthy organizations don’t happen by accident.

They are built through thoughtful financial management, clear governance, effective systems, and leaders who understand how today’s decisions shape tomorrow’s outcomes.

My work combines financial expertise with systems thinking to help organizations strengthen their operations, improve decision-making, and create sustainable foundations for growth.

Whether I’m supporting budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, grant management, governance, or strategic planning, my focus is always the same: helping organizations move from reacting to problems toward building systems that prevent them.
